RAP ‘AWA’ styles – bringing together support services to work with a group of Taitama Tane, RAP will workshop what it is to be a male and look at the core values of RAP and how their lives can change using basic tools. This is a Marae-based learning experience and will integrate traditional Māori knowledge, values and beliefs of Whakapapa, Tikanga Marae and Te Ira Tāne - Te Ira Wāhine. Combined with modern information and support about sexuality issues, it is believed that this Wānanga will contribute to a wider understanding of positive behaviours and healthy lifestyle choices amongst our young Tāne Māori.
